AI TV Remote ยท Last updated: July 24, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information the AI TV Remote mobile application (the "App") collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The App is provided by Shahadat ("we," "us," or "our"). For any privacy question or request, contact us at ahmedmilon1992@gmail.com.
By using the App you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
For the purposes of the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), the data controller is Shahadat, contactable at ahmedmilon1992@gmail.com. If you are located in the EU/UK and require a postal address for a formal request, please email us and we will provide it.
a) Information stored only on your device. Your saved TVs, their names and room labels, your favorites, and your app settings are stored locally on your device (and included in your own iCloud device backup if you have that enabled). We cannot access this information.
b) Local network information. To find and control your TVs, the App communicates with them over your home Wi-Fi using device names, IP addresses, and each brand's control protocol. This stays on your local network and is not transmitted to us.
c) Microphone and speech (voice control). If you use voice control, your speech is processed by Apple's on-device speech recognition to turn it into TV commands. Audio is not recorded, stored, or transmitted to us or any third party.
d) Live Help requests. If you choose to use "Get Live Help," you provide your name, phone number, email address, a description of your TV, and your message. This information is transmitted by email to the developer through our email-delivery processor (Web3Forms) solely so we can respond to your support request. It is not used for marketing.
e) Remote Share. If you choose to use Remote Share, remote-control button presses are relayed between two devices through Apple's iCloud (CloudKit). This carries control commands and the TV's display name, not personal content, and the session ends when you close it.
f) Purchases. Subscriptions and purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles your payment information; we do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive from Apple only the information needed to confirm your subscription status.
g) Correspondence. If you email us or use "Report a Problem," we receive your email address and the content of your message, and use it only to respond to you.
We do not collect usage analytics, behavioral profiles, advertising identifiers (IDFA), precise or coarse location data, contacts, or browsing history. The App contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking software.
We use the limited information above to: (i) provide the App's features and control your TVs; (ii) provide support when you request it; and (iii) process purchases through Apple. Where GDPR applies, our legal bases are: performance of a contract, legitimate interests (responding to inquiries and keeping the App working and secure), and consent (for microphone access, which you can withdraw in Settings at any time).
We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies. We rely on the following service providers strictly to provide the App: Apple Inc. (iCloud and the App Store โ see apple.com/legal/privacy) and Web3Forms (delivering Live Help requests to us by email โ see web3forms.com/privacy-policy). We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our legal rights, to prevent fraud or abuse, or in connection with a business transfer.
Our processors may store and process information on servers in the United States or other countries. Where information is transferred out of the EU/UK, it is protected by appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Information stored on your device remains until you remove a TV or delete the App. Live Help messages and support correspondence are retained only as long as needed to resolve your request and for a reasonable period thereafter, after which they are deleted. Remote Share session data is transient and removed when the session ends.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal information, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. Because most of your data never leaves your device, you can exercise many of these rights directly by removing a TV or deleting the App. For information we hold, email ahmedmilon1992@gmail.com. EU/UK users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data-protection supervisory authority.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know, delete, and correct your personal information, and to opt out of "sale" or "sharing." We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not process it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. To make a request, email ahmedmilon1992@gmail.com.
The App is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including on-device storage, Apple's iCloud security, and data minimization. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App or this page may link to third-party services (such as Apple). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services; please review their policies.
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide a notice in the App where appropriate.
