Last Photo uses your iPhone's built-in image analysis to find the people and pets in your photos, entirely on your device. When you name someone, it finds your most recent photo together and counts the days. Take a new photo together and the counter starts again — that's the whole app.
Either the scan hasn't finished (check Settings → Rescan Photos), or their face samples are too few. Tap + and select more of their face groups — the app merges them and matching improves.
Open their page → View All Photos → tap the ✕ on the wrong photo. Your photo library is never affected.
Open the app once after adding the widget — it prepares the images. Then remove and re-add the widget if needed.
Settings → Delete All My Data removes everything instantly. Deleting the app does the same.
