← OneDollar: To Do List

Support & FAQ

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up, no login, and no account. Open the app and start adding tasks.

Is there a subscription?

No. OneDollar is a one-time $1 purchase. Everything in the app is included forever — no upsells, no ads, no locked features.

Does it work offline?

Yes, completely. The app never needs an internet connection. Your tasks are stored on your device.

How do reminders work?

Give a task a due date, then pick a reminder time. For tasks that must not slip, turn on Constant Reminder — it re-nags every 30 minutes until you check it off. In Settings → Reminders you can set Quiet Hours (overnight reminders move to the morning), pause reminders on weekends, and control repeat counts.

How do I add tasks from my Home Screen?

Long-press your Home Screen → tap + → search "OneDollar". The widgets show your day, let you check tasks off, and the + button opens Quick Add. There are Lock Screen widgets too.

Can I type things like "pay rent tomorrow 5pm"?

Yes — Quick Add understands natural language: dates ("tomorrow", "next friday"), times ("5pm"), priority ("!high"), lists ("#Home"), and repeats ("every monday").

How do I back up my data?

Settings → Backup → Export Backup (JSON). Save the file anywhere. Import it later to restore — imports merge and never create duplicates. Note: photo and file attachments aren't included in the JSON backup.

How do I restore a deleted task?

Deleted tasks go to Trash (Settings → Trash) and stay recoverable for 30 days. Completed tasks can be restored from the Completed screen with a swipe.

Does it sync between devices?

Optional iCloud Sync (Settings → Sync) uses your own iCloud account — nothing ever touches our servers, because we don't have any.

Why does the app ask for Calendar or Reminders access?

Only for features you trigger yourself: "Add to Calendar" on a task, or importing from Apple Reminders. Both are optional — the app works fully without them.
