StayProof — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 1, 2026

StayProof ("the app", "we", "us") is designed to be private by default. This policy explains what information the app uses and how it is handled.

No account required

You can use StayProof without creating an account, signing in, or giving us an email address. We do not ask you to register.

Your content stays on your device

The photos, videos, notes, and reports you create in StayProof are stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that collects, receives, or stores your content, and we do not sell or share your content with third parties. If you use your device's backup (such as iCloud Backup) or enable "Save to Photos", copies are handled by Apple and your own device settings — not by us.

Device permissions

You can change any of these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.

Subscriptions

StayProof offers an optional subscription (StayProof Pro) with a free trial. Purchases, billing, renewals, and any related personal or payment data are processed by Apple through the App Store under Apple's privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.

Analytics & tracking

StayProof does not include third-party advertising or cross-app tracking, and does not require an analytics account to function.

Children

StayProof is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Data retention & deletion

Because your content is stored on your device, it remains until you delete it in the app or delete the app. Removing the app removes its on-device data (subject to any backups you created).

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
