Frequently asked

Where are my files saved?

Every change auto-saves to the app's Documents tab on your device. You can also tap Save → “Save a Copy to Files” to place a copy anywhere in the iOS Files app (iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox, On My iPhone, etc.), or Share it to another app.

Is my data private?

Yes. OneDollar collects nothing and has no servers. Everything — editing, OCR, scanning, compression — happens on your device. See our Privacy Policy.

How do I sign a PDF?

Open a PDF, switch to Fill & Sign, tap Signature, draw it once (it's saved for reuse), then tap the page to place it. Drag to move, pinch to resize, and tap the green check to apply. You can Undo if it lands in the wrong spot.

How do I redact sensitive text?

Open a PDF, switch to Edit, choose Redact, and drag a black box over the text. Then tap ⋯ → Apply Redactions (Secure) — the text underneath is permanently removed, not just hidden.

How do I scan a document?

Tap + → Scan Document, capture the page (edges are detected automatically), then pick a filter — Color, Enhanced, Grayscale, or Black & White — and save. You can add multiple pages.

Can I lock the app?

Yes. Settings → Privacy → “Lock with Face ID.” The app will require Face ID or Touch ID each time it opens.
